How do I give a donation during the event?
You can give a donation during the event by clicking "Online Bidding Donation" and choosing an amount that is meaningful to you: https://InspiringGreatness2020.ggo.bid.
Please use this link during the live stream event – we might not see your donation if you give using other links in time to update our progress to goal in real-time
How can I RSVP to attend the event?
Inspiring Greatness is free to “attend” and you can RSVP on our event website here: https://friendsseattle.ejoinme.org/RSVP
To rsvp only, all you need to do is enter a quantity in the “Single Ticket” field on the website and proceed to the next page.
The dinner & swag packages are optional add-ons for purchase at the same time you rsvp.
Our rsvp function is optimal for desktop computers, but you can also rsvp on your mobile device.
Make sure to mark your Virtual Table Host when you RSVP. Don't have a Virtual Table Host or can't find their name? You can write it in or choose "N/A" or "Other."
When is the deadline to rsvp?
The deadline to RSVP is Friday, October 2nd.
There is no cost to RSVP, but it will help our team plan to know who is coming and ensures you receive the exact information for how to logon and participate on October 3rd.

How can I watch Inspiring Greatness on Oct. 3rd?
There are several options to watch the Live Stream event on Sat, October 3rd from 6-7PM PST.
1. You’ll receive a direct link to the Facebook Live feed the day before the event (October 2nd ) through the email address you entered when you RSVP’ed
2. You can tune into the live stream on Facebook Live on Friends of the Children’s Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/SeattleFriends

When is the deadline to order a party box?

What comes in a party box?
Dinner for Two party boxes are available from Friends partners Jones BBQ and Junebaby (vegetarian and protein option). Your dinner box will include re-heat able meal for two people. You can view the exact menu for the dinner options here: https://friendsseattle.ejoinme.org/partybox
Goodies & Swag Bag party boxes include customized Friends of the Children reusable tote, insulated travel cup, interactive noisemakers fit for #1 fans, laptop logo sticker and a sweet chocolate treat. Order you Goodies & Swag here: https://friendsseattle.ejoinme.org/RSVP

Can I purchase multiple party boxes and have them delivered to multiple addresses?
Yes! For each party box purchased, you can specify a unique shipping address different than your billing address.
What is the delivery service area for a party boxes?
The delivery service area for Dinner for Two party boxes is: from Everett to Tacoma, Seattle to Issaquah.
We can ship Goodies & Swag Bags only to anywhere in the U.S.
What is the delivery timeframe for party boxes on Oct 3rd?
All Dinner Packages will be delivered to your doorstep on Sat, Oct 3rd between noon-5pm.
If you ordered a Goodies & Swag Bag box only, it will be delivered to your address during normal business hours Wed, Sept 30th-Fri, Oct 2nd.
Who can I contact if I have an issue with my party box delivery?
If you experience any issues with the delivery of your dinner box on Oct 3rd, please contact Meghan Wagner (cell number).
Will there be a silent auction? How can I bid? When does the silent auction close?
There will be a online silent auction open for bidding starting Mon, Sept 21st and it will close at 8pm on Sat, Oct 3rd. You can participate in the silent auction here: https://InspiringGreatness2020.ggo.bid
If you RSVP’ed to attend Inspiring Greatness, you will receive an invitation to register for the silent auction. We will also share this information widely with supporters so that you can participate in the fun!

Will my name publicly shared if I donate?
No, but you’ll have the option to opt-in to have your name shared to inspire others.
Will there be any items auctioned live?
The 10th Anniversary edition of our one-of-a-kind Hearts Out Loud Poetry Book will be the only items auctioned live during our live stream on Sat, Oct 3rd 6-7pm PST. This book is out of print, so this is your very last chance to own this collection of poetry written by youth at Friends of the Children.

How do I bid or donate from my phone?
When you register for the silent auction, make sure to use your mobile phone number so you can receive alerts during silent auction. You will also have the option to set a max bid.
To bid on an item in the silent auction:
1. Search for packages by name or number by using the magnifying glass or by choosing a category under the menu.
2. You can Bid the next increment or Bid More than the next increment. If you choose Bid More you can set your max bid. If your max bid is the highest, the system will automatically bid in your favor until you are outbid or until the auction closes.
3. To “watch” a package, select the star icon on the package.
4. You'll be notified if you're outbid at any point before the auction closes and you will see an Outbid notice at the top of your screen.
5. To get back to the main screen, click the house icon.
6. To view the packages you are bidding on, click the menu button and select Bids
What is a Virtual Table Host?
Virtual Table Hosts are our VIPS and the catalysts in the community who encourage their networks to attend Inspiring Greatness.
Once you sign up to be a Virtual Table Host on the RSVP tab:
- Hosts will receive resources & instructions by email
- Hosts are invited to a cocktail hour from 5-6PM on October 3rd that will include a group welcome in the virtual ballroom, and cocktails with your table in zoom breakouts before everybody reconvenes in the ballroom for the main event. Our team facilitates this to make it easy on our guests.
Interested in being a Virtual Table Host? Anyone is welcome to participate! You can register to be a Virtual Table Host when you RSVP.
How can I join my virtual host’s cocktail hour?
If you indicated your table host, a unique Zoom link will be sent to you on Oct 2nd (with a reminder on Oct 3rd) using the email address you entered when you RSVP’ed. This virtual cocktail hour is reserved for virtual hosts and sponsors only and you will join a dedicated breakout group with your host and their guests before the program begins. The virtual cocktail hour is 5-6PM PST.
