Q: Is “An Evening with Friends” the same as Friendship Ball?

 >  A: Yes! An Evening with Friends is the new name for our annual Fall gala.

  

Q: Will food and drinks be provided?

> A: Yes! There will be an open bar with wine, beer, and a signature cocktail alongside appetizers. During the program, a family style dinner will be provided by Rain City Catering.

  

Q: What should I wear?

>  A: This year, we are leaning into a more relaxed community space. We encourage business casual attire. Consider the clothes you would wear for a dinner party with friends!

 

Q: Will there be a coat check at the event?

>  A: No; however, there will be a coat rack near the registration table that we can keep an eye on.

  

Q: Can I still purchase tickets?

>  A: Yes! Early bird tickets are on sale now through September 8. After that, prices will increase. 

  

Q: Do I have to know who is sitting at my table to be able to purchase one?

>  A: No! You can purchase a table now and fill in guest information at a later date.

  

Q: Can I still be a sponsor for this event?

>  A: Yes! Sponsorship opportunities are available until September 18th. Please reach out to development@friendsseattle.org to inquire.

 

Q: What activities will be offered at the event?

>  A: We will have activity stations that help showcase our youth programming relating to the youth’s intermediate goals. Activities will include building your own charcuterie cone, creating a communal art piece with youth and staff, completing lego sets started by youth and mentors, and more!

  

Q: What if I am unable to attend the gala, but I still want to support Friends of the Children?

>  A: There are plenty of ways to still support Friends even if you are unable to attend the gala. You can donate through our event page, or you can create your own fundraising campaign through our Give Lively platform.
